Checkout quickly with cash, credit card, or tap to pay/one-touch options.

The FoodToken Checkout app offers multiple payment options for quick checkouts. Complete your transactions with any of the following payment options:

  • Cash

  • Credit & debit cards - accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express

  • One-touch payment options - Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, VISA Paywave, MasterCard PayPass, AMEX ExpressPay and Discover D-PAS

At the bottom of the checkout screen, select the Pay Cash option for cash transactions, or the Pay Credit option for all other forms of payment. Alternatively, you can email the cart to your customer for self-checkout online.

Pay Cash

In the Pay Cash option, enter the total amount of cash received. You can easily enter amounts by tapping the corresponding individual bill amounts you receive (e.g. $5 / $10 / $20 etc). The system will automatically total all cash received and calculate any change required.

Once the total cash amount is entered, simply tap the in the top nav to complete the transaction. You will be returned to the confirmation screen.

Pay Credit

Select the Pay Credit option for all credit/debit and one-touch payment options. Once in the Pay Credit screen, ensure your card reader is connected to the app and ready to accept payment.

If you are having issues connecting your card reader, please refer to the section.

Collect payment by either swiping, inserting or tapping the card to your card reader.

Wait for the payment to be authorized. Once it is authorized, the confirmation screen will be displayed in your app.

Email Receipt

  • Email Address: enter the customer's email address

  • Subject: the email subject is pre-populated for you; update as needed

  • Message: optionally enter a personal message to your customer

Tap the Send button to send your email receipt.

Email Cart

  • Email Address: enter the customer's email address

  • Subject: the email subject is pre-populated for you; update as needed

  • Message: optionally enter a personal message to your customer

Tap the Send button to email the link.

Note: You can also tap the Copy Link option to obtain a direct link to the cart. You can email or text this link to your customers.

On the confirmation screen, you will have the option of emailing your customer a receipt of the transaction. Simply tap the Email Receipt option to bring up the email function. Complete the following:

To email the cart to a customer for self-checkout, simply tap the icon in the top right corner of the cart. Complete the following:
